Brandon Clark, Partner

Brandon Clark is a partner and co-founder of FrogueClark. As a nationally recognized health policy expert, Brandon frequently advises elected officials, legislative staff, administration officials, political candidates, and private-sector businesses and organizations. He has served as a featured speaker or expert witness for the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Congressional Health Care Caucus, National Governors Association, Republican Governors Association, Alaska State Legislature, Kentucky General Assembly, National Foundation for Women Legislators, and American College of Physicians. His work has been featured in the book Stop Paying the Crooks, and he has written numerous nationally published op-eds on behalf of elected officials.

Extensive Experience

Prior to founding FrogueClark, Brandon worked for the U.S. House of Representatives for over eight years. He spent the last six years of his tenure on Capitol Hill with the Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he served in a managerial role as the health policy coordinator and senior professional staff member.

Professional Background

His policy portfolio included the full jurisdiction of the Subcommittee on Health, and he served as the lead Republican policy staff member for the Medicaid program, Medicare Part B, Medicare Part C, Medicare Part D, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), health insurance markets, and sector-wide health reform. Prior to his tenure on the Energy and Commerce Committee, Brandon served as a legislative assistant and senior health policy advisor to the Honorable Nathan Deal, who served as the chairman and ranking member of the Subcommittee on Health in the U.S. House of Representatives and served as the 82nd Governor of Georgia.

During his tenure on Capitol Hill, Brandon helped facilitate the passage into public law of over 30 bills under the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee on Health and well over 100 pieces of legislation through final passage in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a lead staff author and conference-committee negotiator for the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and was a lead Republican policy advisor during the consideration of the Affordable Care Act. He has authored dozens of stand-alone bills, bill sections, and amendments, including theFair Medicare Hospital Payments Act, SCHIP Reauthorization and Reform Act of 2007, Medicaid Fraud Reduction Act of 2008, and Patients' Right to Know Act.

Educational Background

Brandon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia and earned First Honor Graduate status as the top-ranked student of the Class of 2003. He also graduated with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Public Policy. Brandon was the first student at the University of Georgia to earn an MPA through the UGA Honors Program's Combined Bachelor's/Master's Degree Program, jointly completing his graduate and undergraduate degree requirements. Brandon currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
